Casa Luciano is located in the heart of the Natural Park of Cazorla, Segura y las Villas. It is one of the largest Natural Parks in Spain as well as one of the most frequently visited due to its great natural, cultural and historical importance. It was in these spectacular surroundings that Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente, the nationally acclaimed producer of Spain’s best known wild life documentaries, famously filmed the breathtakingly thunderous fights of red deer stags during rutting season.

Indeed, a vast array of animals including wild boar, eagles, vultures and wild cats can be found within the boundaries of the park and one can take part in numerous exciting outdoor activities such as hiking, bike riding, horse riding and off-road driving. For those with a love of the water, canoeing and rafting excursions are also available.

The proprietors of Casa Luciano, the Gamez family, have first-hand knowledge of the local forests and mountains and would be happy to give information about many of the pleasant local forest walks should you require it.
